6-Day Uganda Safari
This 6-day safari takes you through three of Uganda’s most rewarding parks, starting with wildlife and waterfalls in Murchison Falls National Park, followed by primate experiences in Kibale National Park, and ending with classic game viewing and a boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Tour Plan
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You will depart from Kampala or Entebbe and drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey offers good views of the countryside and rural life. On arrival, you will check in to your lodge and relax for the evening.
Day 2: Game drive and Nile boat cruise
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive where you can see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the River Nile, taking you close to the base of the famous Murchison Falls. This is a great opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and many birds.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Murchison Falls and drive to Kibale National Park. The journey is long but very scenic, passing through forests, farmlands and beautiful landscapes. You will arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge near the park.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning, you will go for a guided chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. You will have a chance to see chimpanzees in their natural environment and learn about other primates and forest life. After the trek, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at your lodge.
Day 5: Game drive and Kazinga Channel boat cruise
You will enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes and different antelope species. In the afternoon, you will take a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, one of the best wildlife viewing spots in the park.
Day 6: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. You will enjoy the last scenic views of western Uganda before arriving later in the day, bringing your safari to an end.
